Drug for treatment of parasitic diseases in animals
Eprimec is administered to cattle, sheep, goats, deer and camels for treatment nematode diseases: dictyocausalosis, trichostrongylatosis, strongyloidosis, ascariasis, bunostomosis, telaziosis; hypodermatosis, estrosis, psoroptosis, sarcoptosis, sifunculatosis, malophagosis, and also used to control blowflies and flesh floes. The drug is administered to horses for treatment of strongylosis, parascaridosis, oxyurosis, sarcoptosis and gastrophiliasis.
For pigs, Eprimec is used for treatment of ascariasis, esophagostomiasis, trichocephaliasis, strongyloidiasis, stefanurosis, metastrongylosis and other nematodes; for sarcoptosis and louse
infestation. In Arctic and other foxes – for treatment of toxocariasis, toxascariasis, ankylostomiasis and unzinariasis, sarcoptosis and otodectosis, notoedrosis, demodekosis and flea infestation, as well
as prevention of dirofilariosis.
Eprinomectin — 10 mg/ml, excipients up to 1 ml.
Eprimec is administered to animals in compliance with applicable aseptic and antiseptic rules.
• To cattle, small ruminants, horses, deer and camels — subcutaneously or intramuscularly at 1 ml Eprimec per 50 kg of animal body weight (200 мkg active substance per 1 kg of body weight).
• To pigs — intramuscularly at 1 ml Eprimec per 33 kg of animal body weight (300 мkg active substance per 1 kg of body weight) as a single dose. If the amount of the solution to be injected exceeds 10 ml, it should be injected to the animal into several injection sites.
• To Arctic and other foxes — subcutaneously or intramuscularly at 0.2 ml per 10 kg of animal body weight (200 мkg active substance per 1 kg of body weight).
For nematodes, the drug is administered to animals before stabling and in the spring before the start of grazing.
Slaughter of cattle for meat is allowed no earlier than 8 days, pigs — no earlier than 28 days following the most recent drug
administration. Meat of animals that had to be slaughtered before the expiry of the aforesaid time periods may be used as feed
for furbearing animals or for meat and bone meal production. Milk may be used for food purposes without any restrictions.
The drug should be stored sealed in the manufacturer packaging, protected from direct sunlight and kept separate from food
products and feeds at temperatures between +5°С and +25°С.
The drug has a shelf life of 3 years from the date of manufacture, provided that the storage conditions are met at all times, and 28
days once the bottle is opened.
