Enrostin is used in calves, lambs, pigs, and farm birds for treatment for respiratory, gastrointestinal diseases, colibacteriosis,
salmonellosis, streptococcosis, necrotic enteritis, Glasser’s disease, mycoplasmosis and other infections caused by pathogens sensitive to enfrofloxacin and colistin.
Enrofloxacin — 100 mg/ml, colistin sulfate — 106 IU, excipients up to 1 ml.
Enrostin is administered to animals orally once daily for 3 to 5 days in the following doses:
- calves, lambs individually, pigs individually or in groups — 0.3 ml/ kg of animal body weight by adding the drug to drinking water at 1:1;
in case of severe conditions, the daily dose may be increased to 0.5
ml/kg of animal body weight,
- broiler chickens, replacement chickens up to 14 weeks of age, parent broilers and meat turkeys — 0.5 ml/l of drinking water.
Энростин применяют животным перорально один раз в сутки в течение 3 — 5 дней, в следующих дозах:
- телятам, ягнятам индивидуально, свиньям индивидуально или групповым способом — 0,3 мл/кг массы животного, выпаивая с водой для поения в разведении 1:1;
при тяжелой форме заболевания суточную дозу лекарственного препарата увеличивают до 0,5 мл/кг массы животного;
- цыплятам-бройлерам, ремонтному молодняку кур до 14-недельного возраста, родительскому бройлерному стаду и мясным индейкам — 0,5 мл/л воды для поения.
Contraindications include the animal’s individual hypersensitivity to the drug components.
The drug prohibited for use in laying hens and replacement chickens less than 2 weeks of age before the start of oviposition, as enrofloxacin accumulates in eggs. Enrostin must not be used in adult ruminants with developed cicatricial digestion, piglets weighing less than 20 kg, animals with severely impaired cartilage development, severe renal and/or hepatic diseases, nervous system impairments
accompanied by seizures.
Slaughter of birds for meat is allowed no earlier than 11 days;
slaughter of calves, lambs, and pigs is allowed no earlier than 14 days after the most recent administration of Enrostin.
Meat of animals that had to be slaughtered before the expiry of the time periods specified may be used as feed for fur-bearing animals.
The drug should be stored sealed in the manufacturer packaging, protected from direct sunlight and kept separate from food
products and feeds at temperatures between +5°С and +25°С.
The drug has a shelf life of 2 years from the date of manufacture, provided that the storage conditions are met at all times, and 28
days once the bottle is opened.
