Dirophen tablets are used in cats and dogs, kittens and puppies starting from the age of 3 weeks for the prevention and treatment
of nematodoses (toxocariasis, toxascaridosis, uncinariosis, trichocephalosis, ankylostomiasis), cestodoses (tenyidosis,
dipyldiosis, alveococcosis, echinococcosis, diphyllobithriasis, mesocestoidiasis), associated gastrointestinal nematode-cestode
invasions and giardiasis.
febantel — 300 mg/tablet, pyrantel pamoate — 300 mg/tablet, praziquantel — 100 mg/tablet, excipients.
Dirofen tablets should be given to each animal individually during
the morning feeding with a small amount of food or treat. No prior
fasting or administration of laxatives is required.
For preventive purposes, an animal should be dewormed once every
3 months and before each vaccination.
For therapeutic and preventive purposes, where animals are kept in
group (crowded) environments (kennels, shelters, vivariums),
treatment shall be done as follows:
- for nematodoses — twice with a 14-day interval;
- for cestodoses and associative nematode-cestode invasions –
twice with a 14-day interval;
- for giardiasis: once a day for 3 consecutive days according to the doses specified in the table.

Dirophen tablets for kittens and puppies — 1 tablet на 1 kg of animal
body weight.
Dirophen tablets for cats and dogs of small and medium-sized
breeds — 1 tablet per 5 kg of animal body weight.
Dirophen tablets for dogs of large breeds — 1 tablet per 20 kg of
animal body weight.
Contraindications include the animal’s individual intolerance to active drug components (including from past medical history).
Dirophen tablets should not be used for malnourished animals, animals suffering from infectious diseases and recovering animals.
The drug should be stored sealed in the manufacturer packaging, protected from direct sunlight and kept separate from food
products and feeds at temperatures between 0 ºС and +25 ºС.
The drug has a shelf life of 3 years from the date of manufacture, provided that the storage conditions are met at all times.
