Stop Coccid 2.5% for the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in farm birds
Stop Coccid 2.5% is used in broiler chickens, replacement chickens, turkeys, geese, and ducks for therapeutic and preventive purposes in coccidiosis, as well as when clinical signs of the disease are observed in birds.
Toltrazuril 25 mg/ml, additives up to 1 ml.
Stop Coccid 2.5% is administered to birds with drinking water for two days in a row at 7 mg of toltrazuril per 1 kg of bird weight (28 ml of drug per 100 kg of bird weight), which is equivalent to: • 1 ml of the drug per 1 liter of drinking water consumed by the birds for 48 hours in a row or • 3 ml of the drug per 1 liter of drinking water consumed by the birds 8 hours a day two days in a row In severe cases, the treatment is repeated after 5 days. During the treatment, the bird should receive only water containing the drug. The solution remains effective for 48 hours. In case of sedimentation, the solution should be thoroughly mixed before use.
Slaughter of broiler chickens for meat is allowed no earlier than after 14 days, turkeys, geese, and ducks - no earlier than after 16 days after the last use of Stop Coccid 2.5%. In the case of forced slaughter of birds earlier than that, meat can be used as feed for fur animals.
The drug is not approved for use in laying hens, due to the accumulation of the drug in the eggs.
Store sealed in the factory packaging, protected from direct sunlight, separately from food and feed at a temperature between 2 ºС and 25 ºС.
The shelf life, if sealed and subject to storage conditions, is 3 years from the date of manufacture and 60 days if opened.
