Drug for relief of phantom pregnancy symptoms; prevention and treatment of conditions caused by hyperprolactinemia in dogs and cats
Lacto-Stop is administered for relief of phantom pregnancy symptoms and prevention of lactational mastitis in the event of early
weaning of puppies and kittens, prevention of physiological lactation and treatment of disorders caused by hyperprolactinemia, including in animals who have pituitary adenoma (micro- and macroprolactinomas) and idiopathic hyperprolactinemia in their
medical histories.
Cabergoline — 50 мkg/ml, excipients up to 1 ml.
The drug should be administered to dogs and cats orally with food or applied to the back of the base of the tongue using a dispenser
once daily for 4 to 7 days at 1 ml per 10 kg of animal body weight..
Contraindications to the use of the drug include the animal’s individual hypersensitivity to cabergoline, arterial
hypotension, renal and hepatic failure in the medical history.
The drug should be stored sealed in the manufacturer packaging, protected from direct sunlight and kept separate from food
products and feeds at temperatures between +5°С and 25°С.
The drug has a shelf life of 2 years from the date of manufacture, provided that the storage conditions are met at all times, and 28
days once the bottle is opened.
