Characteristics
Drug for the treatment of bacterial diseases in animals
infectious diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory airways, genitourinary system, joints, soft tissues and skin, necrobacteriosis, umbilical infections, atrophic rhinitis, mastitis-metritis-agalactia syndrome and other bacterial infections caused by pathogens sensitive to amoxicillin.
Amoxicillin trihydrate — 150 mg/ml, excipients up to 1 ml.
Amoxisan is administered to animals subcutaneously or intramuscularly as a single dose at 1 ml per 10 kg of animal body weight (15 mg of the active substance per 1 kg of animal body weight); if necessary, the injection may be repeated after 48 hours.
The bottle should be shaken well before each use. The maximum amount of the drug to be injected into one injection site may not exceed 2.5 ml for dogs and 1 ml for cats.
Contraindications to the use of Amoxisan include the animal’s individual hypersensitivity to the drug components and penicillin
family of antibiotics, as well as severe hepatic and/or renal impairments.
The drug should be stored sealed in the manufacturer packaging, protected from direct sunlight and kept separate from food
products and feeds at temperatures between +5°С and +25°С.
The drug has a shelf life of 2 years from the date of manufacture, provided that the storage conditions are met at all times, and 28
days once the bottle is opened.
