For treatment of inflammatory and allergic skin diseases and otitis in dogs and cats
Stop Itch Spray is used in dogs and cats for the treatment of acute, chronic dermatitis (atopic dermatitis, eczema, diffuse
neurodermatitis, scratching, alopecia, infected dermatitis, allergic reactions to insect bites) and allergic or bacterial otitis.
Triamcinolone acetonide — 0,5 mg/ml, chloramphenicol — 5 mg/ml, metronidazole — 10 mg/ml, lidocaine hydrochloride — 50 mg/ml,
excipients up to 1 ml.
Holding the bottle upright and pressing the spray head, direct the spray head to the affected surface from a distance of 10 — 15 cm.
For treatment of dermatitis, Stop Itch Spray is applied to the affected surfaces after pre-cleansing by spraying a thin layer twice daily. The treatment course must not exceed 10 days.
For treatment of otitis, the external auditory meatus is first precleaned from scabs and crusts, and then, by directing the spray head to the inner surface of the auricle, the surface thereof is evenly moistened. Next, the auricle is folded lengthwise in half and
massaged at the base. The treatment is done 2 to 3 times daily for 5 to 7 days. The course of treatment may be extended at the discretion of the attending veterinarian.
To prevent the drug from being licked off by the animal, it is advisable to use a cone collar, muzzle or noseband, which can be
removed 15 to 29 minutes after the treatment.
Contraindications include the animal’s individual intolerance to product components (including from past medical history), viral
diseases, and diabetes. The drug should not be administered auricularily if the eardrum is perforated.
The drug is not recommended to be used for female animals during pregnancy and lactation, as well as puppies and kittens under 8
weeks of age..
The drug should be stored sealed in the manufacturer packaging, protected from direct sunlight and kept separate from food
products and feeds at temperatures between 0 ºС and +25 ºС.
The drug has a shelf life of 2 years from the date of manufacture, provided that the storage conditions are met at all times.
