Indications for use

Decta-2 is administered to dogs and cats for therapeutic purposes in the event of acute and chronic eye diseases of bacterial etiology including conjunctivitis, blepharitis, keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis, iridocyclitis, including those accompanied by allergic reactions. Decta-2 is also used to prevent eye diseases that may be caused by injuries or the animal getting any foreign objects into its eyes, as well as in eye surgery during preoperative and postoperative periods.

Composition

Gentamicin sulfate — 5 mg/ml, dexamethasone sodium phosphate — 1 mg/ml, excipients up to 1 ml.

Dosage and administration

Before using Decta-2, any profuse discharge from the eyes should be removed as follows: eye corners and eyelids should be cleaned from exudate and crusts using a gauze wipe moistened with the drug. Once the eye area has been cleaned, 2 to 3 drops of the drug should be put into the conjunctival sacs of the both eyes for 5 to 10 days until the clinical signs of the disease go away. The treatment may be repeated, if necessary.

To prevent complications that may be caused by the animal getting foreign objects and other irritants into its eyes, and in eye surgery during preoperative and postoperative periods, 1 or 2 drops of the
drug are administered into the conjunctival sacs 3 times daily for 3 days.

Storage conditions

The drug should be stored sealed in the manufacturer packaging, protected from direct sunlight and kept separate from food products and feeds at temperatures between 0 ºС and +25 ºС. <br>

My cat has allergic flea dermatitis, they prescribed drops on the withers and pills. Dana Ultra drops helped, the cat's rash disappeared and he stopped scratching.

Price = quality. Dana Ultra drops are for weights 20-40kg, if you need 40+ then you need two droppers (by weight). Excellent drops, for a pleasant price.

The price corresponds to the quality. Three days before and three days after we don't bathe the dog, we apply it dotwise in several places on the withers. My dog is allergic, if you pour the whole dropper on one place, there may be irritation, but everything is ok. Good product, I recommend it.
